Financial Stewardship: Managing Money with an Eternal Perspective

Practically, that means a budget. Not a chain, but a plan. It means giving first, saving second, and spending third – in that order, not as leftovers. It means getting out of debt that is strangling your freedom, and refusing to finance a lifestyle that only exists so other people will be impressed. Contentment is the quiet superpower no advertiser wants you to have.

This week, look at your last month of spending. Not to shame yourself, but to notice. Where did your money actually go? What does that reveal about what you treasure? Then make one change – increase giving, cancel a subscription, start a debt payoff plan. Small, consistent obedience with money compounds, in your account and in your soul.

Taking It Further

Knowing truth is only half the battle. Living it is where the rubber meets the road. So what does this look like in your life this week? It might mean having a hard conversation you have been avoiding. It might mean writing down a promise and reading it every morning before your feet hit the floor.
