Raising Kids in Faith: Planting Seeds That Last a Lifetime

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”– Proverbs 22:6

Parenting is the hardest and most important job you will ever have. And in a world competing for your child’s attention 24/7, raising them in faith feels more urgent than ever.

It does not require perfection. Kids do not need perfect parents – they need present ones. They need to see you pray when times are hard. They need to hear you worship when things are good.

Family devotions do not have to look like a seminary class. Read a verse at dinner. Pray in the car. Talk about God as naturally as you talk about everything else.

The seeds you plant today may not bloom tomorrow. But they will bloom. Trust the gardener. He is faithful with what you sow.

Taking It Further
